Located 1 mile north of San Pedro, Grand Caribe is a convenient location for those that seek the slower pace of island living, and yet it is close enough to town for those who enjoy the hustle and bustle of this thriving community.

Phase I of the project includes Buildings A, B and C plus the seawall and pier.

The Grand Caribe Suites and Residences are condominium buildings comprised of 9 units each and there are 3 configurations –

PROGRESS REPORT OF SCHEDULED WORKS

Week # 28 of Scheduled Works (03 - 09 June, 2007)

Building A

    1. - Roof beams and slab formwork continue to be placed. Roof lines, hips, ridges and valleys are layed out. Lower section of roofs have been completely been 
        1. decked up. Remaining is the main roof section over the loft.

Layout of the spiral stairs begins this week.

Building B

    1. - Laying and core filling of third floor walls complete.
    2. - Placing lintel beams and floor slab formwork.

 

    1. - Forming and pouring of columns and lintels complete.

Building C

    1. - Third level walls continue to be laid and core filled.
    2. - Columns and lintels are formed, reinforced and poured.

Building F

    1. - No progress on this building to report.

Building G

    1. - Forming of first level floor beams and slab continues this week.

Building H

    1. - Laying out, placing and core filling of first floor walls begins this week and continues.
    2. - Reinforcement of first floor columns complete.

Site Setup

    1. - Construction of sales office continues. Working on interior finishes, laying floor tiles, plastering sheetrock joints, sanding and painting.
    2. - Electrical and plumbing works continue.
    3. - Adding exterior lattice work over front verandah.

    1. - Desalination plant begins assembly works complete. Plant is scheduled to come online over the weekend.

    1. Works on the wood shop begin this week and continue.

CONCERNS & COMMENTS

    1. - Weather was good for most of this week, some progress was lost on Wednesday morning when heavy rainfall took place for most part of the morning, after mid-day, weather started to improve.
