Tim and I headed out to meet ken and Martha around 5:30 PM. It was raining, but; I wanted to get in the golf cart and go. We got a little wet, but we made it over to the Mayan Princess. We sat out on the veranda and had pre- lobsterfest appetizer and drinks until the rain stopped. We decided to head over to Central Park around 6:30-7PM. It turned out to be a beautiful night.

T.P was on stage singing.
The music and lobster dishes were enjoyed by all. Lobster Ice cream was a first for me. (Not a fan.)
We have to give it to the Rojo Lounge, It was very creative. You could have tried a lobster Mojito or lobster cheesecake. NOT ME!!
I would rather stick with the lobster poppers (good, but never enough), lobster kabobs, lobster tacos, lobster Pita sandwiches, lobster dips, grilled lobster, lobster ceviche (Nice), lobster pasta (my favorite), lobster pizza (Tim, not a fan) and shrimp coctail.

‘The Fat Cats’ formed in 1990. The Fat Cats original members are Wes Horn (bass and vocals) from Dilworth, Minnesota, and Steve Ingberg (Drummer) from Fargo, North Dakota. Wes and Steve were both former members of a popular Fargo based cover band called The Debonaires. From that point on ‘The Fat Cats’ have evolved into the band they are today. They play music from the 60’s to present. Read more about The Fat Cats

Well we are only hours away from lobsterfest and we are getting pretty excited. This is the third year and this event is becoming an annual tradition in San Pedro, Belize. Lobster season is from june 15 – Feb 14th. Lobsterfest celebrates the beginning of the lobster fishing season. this outdoor festival pairs a spectacular array of lobster cusine with live music. .
The ever popular ‘Lobsterfest Town Block Party’ will be the grand finale of Lobsterfest 2009 on Saturday June 20th, 2009.
Many professional people here on the island work around the major holidays. We rarely get adequate time to thank these different people for their contributions to our everyday life and success.
We hope you enjoy the next few posts as much as we will. This is a gathering of people that have one strong thing in common, “the love of San Pedro”. We are confident we will see all sectors of the business community, elected officials, long time investors, tourists and locals that call San Pedro their home.
The Lobsterfest has been proven to be a great way to bring the community together. It takes a lot of long hours, hard work and dedication to bring this event together. Thanks to the San Pedro Business Association and all those that volenteried to help make this happen.

The Blog Party and Stuff Swap was a hugh success. I can tell Laurie put a lot of time and effort into this event and a big thanks goes out to her and those who pitched in to help. The rumor is that the San Pedro Lobster fest is being attended by Frommers Travel.
This was the pre party event so that the bloggers could pick up their press passes for lobster fest. There will be a booth set up along with dozens of others in the park today. This is a great opportunity for all the bloggers out there.
Just checking out the goods.

These jeans fit perfect. “I found them on the swap table. Last year I came to one of these swaps and I left a pair of jeans just like these. I had lost a few pounds and could not wear them anymore. Cindy ended up with the leans. Cindy lots a few pounds and I found a few. Little did I know these where my jeans to begin with. The koozie was a bonus.”
