ENTRY / EXIT REQUIREMENTS: Belize – LINK – US site
All tourists and Non-Belizean citizens are required to pay an exit fee of U.S. $39.25 (payable in U.S. dollars only). Belize allows visitors a maximum of one month’s stay in the country before they require an extension. No specific immunizations are required for visitors to Belize. Visit the Embassy of Belize website for the most current visa information.

All travelers must hold a visa except the following:
1. Citizens of Belize.
2. Travelers staying for no more than one month as long as they:
2.1. Have British passports regardless of endorsement in passport concerning their citizenship.
2.2. Are citizens of:
Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Gambia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Grenada, Guyana, Hungary, Iceland, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Solomon Is., South Africa, Spain, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Suriname, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Tuvalu, Uruguay, United States of America, Vanuatu, Vatican City, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
So my question is why are the major airlines, that fly to Belize, telling passengers that if they are staying longer than 30 days and they will need a visa. If They do not have a visa they will not be allowed to board the plane.?

- Children traveling with adults other than their parents are required to submit an authenticated letter signed by both parents.
- Adopted children traveling with both parents must have the custody papers of those children.
- Adopted children traveling with one parent must have the custody papers as well as an authorized document signed by the other parent.
